Just down the road from the seminary, there is a Free Methodist church with a readerboard out front. Whoever manages it like to post pithy sayings. The pithy saying changes every month or so. There is a custom at St. Tikhon’s that any homily given for homiletics class should somehow incorporate that day’s pithy saying.
